retiring

Today, I decided it would be a good time to start a blog to show the progress of my husband and my venture into retirement. I know it sounds silly, but this is like a new adventure with my husband. It has been just over a month since he has started his retirement, and I'm really enjoying spending time with him. All my worries about what I would do having him here all day were fruitless so far. Sure it is all new having him underfoot sometimes, but on the most part, it is like finding the man I fell in love with years ago.
Today, I remembered I didn't go to court to pay my speeding ticket I got a couple of months ago, and my hubby was kind and told me that if there is some bigger fine, he wouldn't mind paying for it. That was so sweet of him and if I wasn't so worried about being arrested I would give him an extra hug.
Right now, we are planning to sell our home so we can go get us an RV so we can travel some. We are working so hard to get this place ready to be sellable. We spent most of the day making arrangements to get a will done before we make too many decisions about what to do about our future. We also worked outside to get the yard looking nice to sell. Jim is doing a great job helping me now. He even is able to keep up with me in the yard. I'm really happy about that because it is more healthier for him.
I should be tired right now because of all the work I did today but it seems that the more work I do the less I sleep. Weird.
Right now I better get off of here to try and relax some before I go to bed. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to write some more.
